Most condo units here have their own system: an air handler in an interior closet and a condenser on the balcony or up on the roof, which means your system is yours to repair or replace, not the building's. Tell us the building and unit when you call and we'll work out the access from there. If the building requires a contractor to check in at the office, coordinate with maintenance, or reserve the service elevator, we handle that. If your association requires notice or approval before a replacement, we'll give you what you need to submit and can talk to your management company directly. You don't have to be in the unit as long as we have a way in, whether that's a lockbox, a code, a neighbor, or building staff.
